Beauty From Within Reflects Beauty To The Outside

By Mariah Reyes

Although it is a wonderful idea that beauty exists in the eye of the beholder, each of us wants to look as beautiful as possible not just in our eyes, but in the eyes of others as well. As common as it seems, many people are unfamiliar with the basics of beauty. This article provides several tips that you can apply to help put on your best face.

You can save polish that has become dried and sticky by adding nail polish remover to the bottle. Use a little bit, put the top back on, and shake it. By doing this, you will be able to use this polish a couple more times.

One of the most affordable tools to include in your makeup case is the disposable triangular facial sponge. Dampen the sponge, then use it to help apply your facial makeup more smoothly. You can also use it to smooth down flaky skin patches all over the face, or even to soften makeup that appears to be caked-on.

Red eyes make you look tired and worn out. Carry a bottle of eye drops in your purse and reapply as needed throughout the day. At home, keep a bottle of eye drops in the refrigerator to refresh your eyes when you get home from a day in a dry, air conditioned office.

Give coconut oil a try, instead of spending a lot of money on a expensive moisturizer. Coconut oil is easily soaked up by the skin and can help get rid of wrinkles. As an added benefit, coconut oil has also been shown to help with psoriasis, acne and eczema.

Use hydrogen peroxide to cure yellowed nails. Nothing is beautiful about yellowing nails. To fix this problem, soak cotton in peroxide and then wipe each nail for several strokes. Let it sit on your nails for a few minutes. Rinse your nails, and admire the lack of yellow coloring.

Use a misting spray to set makeup. After you are finished fully making up your face, lightly mist yourself with a sprayer. This will set your makeup, keeping it in place longer before requiring you to touch it up. This is perfect for long nights out or events such as weddings.

Believe it or not, teabags can actually be a great way to fix a torn fingernail. Before doing this, get rid of the leaves from the teabag. Then trim out a portion of the emptied bag that is big enough to cover up the torn part of your nail. The last step is to put it on the torn area and use clear nail polish to cover it.

If you ever run out of concealer you can turn to your foundation! Simply turn the cap of the foundation over and you will find a thicker, more condensed collection of it which you can use in a pinch in place of your regular concealer. Simply dab your finger tip in the cap and pat the foundation under eyes or over any other blemish!

Looking beautiful can be expensive and time consuming; hopefully this article has given you some new tips and tricks to try that will save your valuable time and money! Little things can add up to make big and positive changes in the way you look and feel about yourself so incorporate this advice into your routine of being more beautiful and having greater confidence!
