To help prevent hair loss eat brazil nuts as they contain selenium which can help prevent it. For better and stronger hair nuts are recommended because of the high calorie content. Add to your diet seeds such as pumpkin, sunflower and flax. As you can get zinc from pumpkin seeds, omega-3 oils from flax seeds and biotin from sunflower seeds they should all be eaten for health hair. Also, people should take quinoa seeds as it serves the purpose of providing sufficient protein to the body.

Fish oil can be got from fish such as sardines, trout or salmon and should be included in your diet. Oily fish is richly packed with omega-3 fatty acids which play a crucial part in keeping our skin and hair beautiful.As lemons are full of vitamin C sprinkling it on the fish is a good way of adding to your diet. A great source of hair nutrients are shellfish and oysters. Though the food type is not on a regular basis, people are advised to be taking them once in a while for a better healthy skin and hair. Available from these foods are Vitamin B12, zinc, selenium, iron and proteins. It is recommended that you add Vitamin B12 to your intake for great hair growth. Also, people should consider adding foods such as yogurt, avocado and eggs into their diet. These foods can be of considerable help when it comes to establishing a healthy, strong and beautiful hair.
